This policy explains what personal data DOMO collects, why, and what you can do about it. DOMO is operated by Don't Miss Out Ventures Inc. We have tried to keep this short and specific rather than long and defensive.

Your email address

Only if you choose to sign up. We do not require an account to browse.

Basic usage analytics

Which pages and experiences are viewed, approximate region, device type and referring site. This is used in aggregate to understand what people find interesting.

The preferences you set in the app

The mood you select, your budget range and your group type. These are what make the feed personal — without them the recommendations are generic.

We do not ask for and do not want payment details. DOMO never processes a payment; see Terms of Use.

Why we use it

• To operate the service — serving the feed, remembering your preferences, keeping the site working and secure.
• To personalise recommendations — matching experiences to the mood and budget you selected.
• To contact you — only if you signed up and asked us to.

Legal basis

• Consent — for marketing email and any non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interest — for operating, securing and improving the service, where that interest is not overridden by your rights.

Third parties and outbound links

DOMO links out to ticketing and travel providers. When you follow one of those links you leave DOMO, and that provider's own privacy policy applies to everything you do there — including anything you enter at checkout. We do not receive your booking or payment details.

Affiliate networks may set a cookie to attribute a referral, so a provider can tell that a booking came from DOMO. That attribution is how we are paid. See the affiliate disclosure in our Terms of Use.

Cookies

Functional cookies

Remember your preferences and keep the app working between visits. Without these the site cannot function properly.

Analytics cookies

Tell us, in aggregate, which experiences people look at. We use this to judge whether the feed is any good.

Affiliate attribution cookies

Set when you follow a link to a provider, so that provider knows the referral came from DOMO. They record that a click happened — not who you are or what you bought.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking functional cookies will break parts of the site.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. If you signed up and then ask to be deleted, we remove your email and any data tied to it. Aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you may be kept.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data deleted
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Complain to your national data protection supervisory authority

International transfers

Don't Miss Out Ventures Inc. is a Canadian company, and our service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. Canada holds a partial adequacy decision from the European Commission for commercial organisations.

Children

DOMO is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the revision date at the top. Material changes will be flagged more prominently.
